Embarking on My Online Writing Journey- Why and What’s Next?
I decided to start the new year off by joining Ship 30 for 30. I’ve found that learning and building in public, while daunting, is the fastest way to grow.
Here are a few reasons why:
- I’m starting to believe that writing is the core of any creative endeavor. All of my creative projects begin with a written idea. I need to improve my writing and the only way to do that is by, well, doing it.
- I want to become part of a larger community, and avoid becoming an old man yelling at clouds. This means I must stop being a lurker and start contributing, so, howdy!
- Sharing what I’m learning is, selfishly, a great way to reinforce that learning. Anytime I need to document what I’ve learned, I know it better. Besides implementing the practice of writing daily, I can contribute to the space.
What’s Next?
Over the next 30 days, I plan on writing about Web Development, Web3, Content Creation, and more. I aim to approach these topics with an open but skeptical view, Web3 especially. I currently work in the space and feel it’s an immensely powerful technology, but with the Kool-Aid flowing freely at times, stepping back for a clearer perspective becomes crucial.
Join me on this adventure—and let me know if you have any questions along the way! Things will be changing along the way as I figure out what works and what doesn’t.
As I embark on this journey, I’m eager to explore and share through this new medium.
